Great Aerobic Centers In Your Home Town

Posted on June 28, 2009 by Charlena

I just love working out at my aerobics center. The nature of my job required some kind of fitness regime at a center, if I was to avert potential death before my golden jubilee. But presently, I am 52 years old and still kicking very strong. I work in a firm, the type that is described as a fortune 500 organization and occupy a high management position. Now, the perception of many people is that executives don t earn their pay, but just laze around and in the end get rich from other people s efforts. Surprisingly this assertion holds true, albeit for the very few at the top, but for folks one step down the rung, which is where I belong, it is a complete different case. In contrast, we work very hard to get rich off other people s work. And it is this high pace work that necessitates the bit about aerobic centers. Aerobic centers, such as the one I attend might look strange to some people...

Principle Wins

Been offered a chance to score big-time money or a huge promotion if you d only bend the rules just a little bit. People who declare themselves to be your friends are tossing excuses at you like No one will ever know or People do it all the time. You begin to think that they may be right and you ll never see an opportunity as great as this again. If you just do it this one time, you can enjoy your newfound success and pledge to never do it again. You re a good person and even though this may be unethical, it s only one time and you ll still be a good person. It s tempting. We see compromise and a lack of ethics all around us to the point that it seems to justify the idea that any means necessary are acceptable to achieve as long as you get the payoff. These hyper-driven types that take no prisoners are driving some nice cars and living in some mighty palatial digs. The last thing you want to be...

Not many of us give ourselves the credit of being great speakers; neither do we find ourselves comfortable and confident when encountering new people and situations. How often have you found yourself rehearsing the lines which you are supposed to speak at tomorrow s meeting. Even though some of us might feel more confident than the rest, it would not be untrue to say that they too have their fair share of cold feet. Sudden bouts of nervousness and palpitations do not indicate that you are having a serious health condition; in most cases it just indicates a lack of self confidence. It would be safe to say that nearly 90 of all humanity suffers from low confidence; if only we could find a magic lamp to cure us of it. Well, I am here to tell you that such a magic lamp exists and it is called hypnotherapy for confidence; and it generally comes in the form of CD s , audio tapes, books and therapists...

Bunions: The Result Of Poorly Fitted Shoes

Posted on November 29, 2008 by Tuan

A bunion is a bony lump on the side of the foot at the base of the big toe. This may be an isolated problem, but it is often associated with other problems with the shape of the foot. The most common cause of bunions is footwear that does not have enough width to fit the toes in their natural position. High heels are particularly to blame as they squash the toes into the narrowest part of the front of the shoe. Bunions are more common in women than men, and a tendency to get them can run in families. They are occasionally associated with arthritis of the joint at the base of the big toe but many people with bunions have no underlying joint problems. There are very few occasions where bunion surgery is the only option. The main alternative to surgery is to adapt your shoes so that they fit comfortably. The options depend on how severe the bunion is. Using extra-wide-fitting shoes from a good...
